I was referred to Audio Rx after having been to several other hearing tests and receiving hearing aids from other facilities. My initial visit involved the most comprehensive hearing test I have received, which was performed by Sarah Balsam Au.D., CCC-A. Sarah is/was very interested in learning what my specific hearing issue was and determining what hearing aids would best suit my needs. In addition to providing the highest quality medical service, Sarah was extremely pleasant. This was the same for every other person in the office I had contact with. I definitely left with the feeling that there was a genuine care for me as a patient and person.
After two additional visits for adjustments and a repair, I was greeted with the same high level of service. I am more than willing to drive 58 miles to Los Angeles to receive such a high level of service. I would suggest Audio Rx to anyone who requires this type of service.

Dearest Ms. Sarah Balsam,
This note is regarding the new hearing aids that you painstakingly fought for on my behalf.
Forgive me if I am long winded in this note as I am in a Hearing Aid Frenzy or “HAF”.
A large portion of my hearing loss in my right ear was due to a viral infection over 30 years ago. My prior hearing aids did provide some assistance/amplification, however, they are quite inferior compared to the new ones you fitted me with this morning. I have become so exhausted of always asking people to speak louder or repeat what they have said often times completely missing those precious moments spoken in each days adventure. I can now hear so many sounds that have been extinct from my hearing for over 3 decades. “Amazing” doesn’t even begin to describe the difference.
I have been an Audiophile my whole life utilizing a vast array of different and highly rare signal processors. Often times I became emotional as I wasn’t able to enjoy music the way I did before my hearing loss. Now I have a brand new lease on hearing and it is so wonderful. Now I am able to once again achieve & savor the stimulation and euphoria obtained from music. As soon as I left your offices and turned on my car radio and I selected “music” from the menu in the app and shazam it was like a magic wand or more so a miracle had occurred. I can now actually hear the sound from the right speaker in my vehicle. No force known to mankind could remove the smile from my face.
When I arrived home I quickly puttered about putting things in order and sat down in my recliner and began playing a brand new set of Led Zeppelin record albums I received as a gift recently. Utilizing the scientific method I cycled the “mute” function on and off several times and the difference in clarity, tone & volume is radical in a beneficial way. For the first time I had to turn the volume down on my stereo. Those folks at Starkey have got my endorsement. I would like to also thank everyone at Audio Rx.
All too often the only feedback a business receives is complaints.

I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all your patience and kindness while trying to adjust my hearing aids. I am very happy with how they are set up. The small domes have completely eliminated the tickling and itching in my.ears!!!! And I love how you set up the Stream Boost for my phone calls and music. The EQ is so much better now. Everything works great. The Normal setting is perfect for helping me hear conversations, and the automatic switching to the Car setting is wonderful. I have also used the Tinnitus App regularly to get relief. It is great. I have also used the full domes for listening to music at times (the sound quality with those is incredible).
You have definitely improved my quality of life. I am so happy that you hung in there with me. I’m so sorry I was so picky, but I am so happy how everything is set up. You are my hero.
